Once used to grow low quality commercial coffee, a young family see a farms potential to produce a higher quality of coffee.
The producer, Juan Cubillos, owns and operates his farm in the often overlooked area of La Palma, Huila, with his wife Alba Lucia Camacho and two children, Santiago and Valeria.
Juan Cubillos is trained as an agronomist. This experience has allowed him to experiment with lots of processing techniques and higher quality varietals amongst which this Pink Bourbon truly stands out.
We selected this lot for its deep fruity notes of blackcurrant as well as refreshing summer flavours of cantaloupe rounded off with sweetness that reminds us of shortbread.
